Why should I go with window tinting verses blinds or shades?

Will Solar Shades or blinds stop the UV, Abundance of heat or wasted energy coming into your home or building?

Solar shades or blinds will reduce some of the UV, Abundance of heat, or wasted energy when the blinds and solar shades are down. When the shades are up, while looking out, all of the suns harmful rays are now coming in. This is why Elite Sun Solutions recommends having window films as well. The film is applied directly to the window for that perfect insulation barrier even if the blinds are up. 

Does Glass tinting block my view like shades or blinds when it is on the window?

NO. Window films are transparent so you do not lose your beautiful view like you would with blinds and shades when they are down.

Do window films come in different shades?

We have over 40 different kinds of film, with basically any shade, from where you will never know that it is on, to wanting the two way mirror.

Will the window film bubble up?

Will the window film turn purple?

Window film turns purple when the dyes in the film have broken down, which is why Elite Sun Solutions only offers the best, Huper Optik is 100% dye free.

What is the warranty for the films?

Huper Optik offers a life-time warranty for residential and 15 years for commercial, Solamatrix, our traditional line, has a life-time warranty for residential and 10 years for commercial. All of these warranties are covered through the manufacturer.

We cover all films, but primarily use Huper Optik and Solamatrix.

Will putting film on my home cause problems with my HOA?

Some films have reflective metals in it that give a mirror look, if it changes the outside look of the home you could have problems with your HOA. Huper Optik has Zero reflective metals, but we do use the mirror films for customers wanting privacy.  

What happens if my dog or cat scratches the film after it is installed?

All of our films have a scratch resistant coating, but just like glass, if enough force is applied a scratch can occur. No fault scratch warranties are available through Elite Sun Solutions.

How much will it cost to do my house or business?
